Photo Clock Project

Last week I put this together:

Here's how you do this. You need at least 12 small frames. I got mine at Walmart for clearance 2 for $1. I also used 13 frames putting one you can see just the corner of at the top right on the clock between the12 and 1 spot to add variety. So I used 13. I also put my clock on a picture for the background so I did not have to put it on the wall. You can make a background or put it on the wall. I did not have enough room for it that way.

Put pictures in the frames. I used family photos, but anything you like can work. Just crop to fit if needed. Decide what hour you want each picture. If you use a background you can lay it flat to do this. You will need to purchase a clock maker piece. Again I got at Walmart. Elsewhere may be better. Mine was pricey and cheaply made w/out even directions. My son got this working for me. I was lost w/out the directions. My Walmart had only one kind also.

The stabilizer I built for the clock was a piece I had I glued on the picture with  Locite stick and seal no mess glue. I used a thermometer case we no longer had and filled it with glued beads. On this I used Elmer's cheap glue. I taped the clock piece also on the back top with strong gorilla tape since if you glued the timepiece you could not get it off for the  change of the battery when it runs down.. Now glue the pictures on in the places you chose to fit the timepiece and hang. Viola!!!!
